About Moonstone Farm

Moonstone Farm is located in Western Washington near the Puget Sound. We provide a lifelong home for all the animals in our care.

Moonstone Farm Sanctuary was founded as an extension of our lifelong commitment to veganism and nonviolence.

We believe that every animal deserves safety and comfort, and a life free from exploitation, abuse, and murder. Our animals are family, and came from a variety of circumstances including neglect, abuse, and exploitation by the meat and dairy industries.

Dahlia, pictured at left, was scheduled for slaughter as an eight year old dairy cow. She's already twice as old as the average cow in the United States, as most are butchered by age four. She will live out her full natural life at Moonstone Farm Sanctuary—perhaps as much as 20 more years.

  1. Are you adopting animals at this point? My sister who is getting older and can no longer take care of the animals she has rescued. Could you help her please?
    Hopefully yours
